Payouts on Video Poker

published on January 10th, 2008 . by

The Video Poker in most casinos has different styles of machines but the payouts are still the same. A typical payout for a video poker machine is about 90 percent to 100 percent. The 10 percent in between varies because it all depends on what the players strategy is. The ultimate hand is a Royal Flush but the odds of hitting a Royal Flush are about 40,000 to 1.

The payouts are different depending on which type of machine you are playing. There are 9 different styles of machines for Video Poker. We have compiled a list and listed the payouts for you. Keep in mind that each chart will go up top 5 because the Video Poker Machines will accept up to 5 credits.

For a 9/6 Jacks or Better Machine:

Royal Flush if you play one coin you will receive 250 quarters, if you play 2 quarters you will receive a 500 quarters, 3 quarters will pay 750 quarters, 4 quarters will get you1000 and 5 quarters will get you 4000.

For an 8/5 Jacks or Better Machine:

Royal Flush with 1 quarter will pay 250
Royal Flush with 2 quarter will pay 500
Royal Flush with 3 quarter will pay 750
Royal Flush with 4 quarter will pay 1000
Royal Flush with 5 quarter will pay 4000

For a 7/5 Jacks or Better Machine:

Royal Flush with 1 quarter will pay 250
Royal Flush with 2 quarter will pay 500
Royal Flush with 3 quarter will pay 750
Royal Flush with 4 quarter will pay 1000
Royal Flush with 5 quarter will pay 4000

The trend continues on the 6/5 Jacks or Better Machine; the jacks of Better Double Bonus Poker Machine, the Jacks or Better Double Double Bonus Poker, the Jokers’ Wild – Kings are Better Machine and the Joker’s Wild -2 Pair or Better Machine and the Deuces Wild Machine. The best you can do if you hit a Royal Flush on the 5 is you can win $ 1000.00. That is some pay out for $ 1.25 in Play.

But you have to have the odds with you. Even the most experienced poker player can have a hard time getting a Royal Flush. The cards are random but it is possible. There are other possible money makers as well, you can get a Pair of Jacks or Better, Two Pairs, Three of a Kind, Straight, Flush, Full House, Four of a Kind or a Straight Flush. Any of these will pay very well if you have a max bet.

The max bet is tricky because you know the payouts will be amazing but you also have to realize that you aren’t going to win big on the first hand so , consider how many hands at $ 1.25 you will have to pay in order to get a $ 200 win or $ 1000.00. This is where as you are playing you need to decide to stay and play until you hit or you have to know when to walk away.
